What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive holistic therapy which aims to treat imbalances within the body and stimulate the body's own healing process.
Reflexology works on the principle that there are reflex areas on the feet and hands which correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body, and by applying gentle pressure to these points it can promote physical and emotional well-being. With more than 14,000 nerve endings, the feet are highly sensitive and very responsive to touch.
What are the Benefits?
Possible benefits include relaxation, reduced stress, strengthened immune system, improved circulation, revitalised energy, pain relief and recovering a sense of balance and harmony.
This begins with a luxurious foot soak to help soften your skin while we have a brief consultation. I offer reflexology sessions in the safe, peaceful environment of my treatment room at home. Alternatively some summer sessions, by request, can be offered in my private garden where you can relax in a blissfully comfortable reclining chair to the sounds of nature. If you are unable to travel I can offer home visits.
Hand reflexology is also available.
